These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern use of ThaiAttorneys.com and its enquiry features, including communications with ThaiAttorneys by website form or email. “ThaiAttorneys”, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to the operator of the platform.

Please read these Terms before using the platform or submitting an enquiry. If you do not agree, do not use the platform or its enquiry services. These Terms apply subject to applicable law and do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

1. The Platform

ThaiAttorneys is an online platform providing Thailand-focused legal information and helping users identify relevant professional expertise. It is not a law firm and does not itself provide legal advice, legal representation, investigative services or other professional services.

Communications concerning an enquiry’s general subject, potential expertise or possible connections are administrative or informational. They are not advice on the merits of your matter or the action you should take.

2. Information and Legal Materials

Website content is general information and is not a substitute for advice addressing your circumstances. Laws, procedures and interpretations change, and content may contain errors or become outdated. We do not guarantee that information is complete, current or suitable for a particular purpose.

Unless expressly identified otherwise, translations and summaries of Thai legal materials are unofficial reference materials. Check the authoritative Thai text, its current status and any relevant amendments before relying on it. Obtain appropriate professional advice before making decisions concerning a particular matter.

3. Enquiries and Introductions

You may describe your matter through a website form or by email. Where appropriate, ThaiAttorneys may facilitate contact with one or more relevant professionals. Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee a response, introduction, professional availability or acceptance of your matter.

Using the platform, submitting information or receiving an introduction does not by itself create a lawyer-client relationship or professional engagement. A professional must accept the engagement in accordance with the applicable requirements.

Enquiry information and contact details may be shared for assessment and potential connection as explained in our Privacy Policy. Where sharing is already lawfully authorised, a separate confirmation may not be sought before each disclosure. These Terms do not replace any consent or other legal requirement applicable to personal data.

4. Professional Services

Any professional engagement is agreed directly between you and the relevant professional or service provider. Its scope, fees, expenses, acceptance procedures and other engagement terms are matters for those parties. ThaiAttorneys is not a party to that professional engagement.

An introduction does not guarantee a professional’s suitability, availability, quality of service or the outcome of a matter. Before engaging a professional, satisfy yourself about their qualifications, authority to practise where relevant, experience and proposed terms.

The professional is responsible for their advice and services and any required conflict, identity or client-acceptance checks. This does not exclude any responsibility ThaiAttorneys may have under applicable law for its own conduct.

5. Urgent Matters

ThaiAttorneys is not an emergency service. Do not rely on a form submission or email to meet a deadline or obtain urgent assistance. Messages may not be received or reviewed promptly, and no response time is guaranteed.

Submitting an enquiry does not suspend or extend any limitation period, filing deadline or other time requirement. If action is urgent, contact an appropriate professional directly without waiting for a response from ThaiAttorneys.

6. Information You Submit

Provide accurate information and only the detail reasonably needed to explain the general nature of your enquiry. Do not knowingly mislead us, impersonate another person or submit information you are not lawfully entitled to provide.

Do not include highly confidential material, sensitive personal data or information you consider legally privileged in an initial form submission or email. If further detail is needed, appropriate handling arrangements can be discussed.

Communicating with ThaiAttorneys does not by itself establish legal professional privilege or the confidentiality obligations of an engaged lawyer. Personal data remains subject to applicable data protection requirements and our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, submit threats or harmful content, introduce malware, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or availability, or infringe another person’s rights.

We may decline enquiries or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, protect the platform or comply with law. Such action does not remove obligations we already owe under applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

Original website content, design and branding are owned by or licensed to the platform’s operator, unless stated otherwise. You may use content for personal, educational or internal business reference, subject to applicable rights.

Except with permission or where the law allows, do not republish, commercially exploit or systematically extract substantial portions of the website. Ordinary search-engine indexing that respects published crawler instructions and does not compromise the site is permitted.

We do not claim ownership of legislation, official materials or third-party content that we do not own. Do not use ThaiAttorneys branding to falsely suggest affiliation or authorisation.

9. External Websites and Availability

External websites and services have their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not by itself constitute approval or a guarantee of their content or services.

The platform is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content or successful delivery of every communication. Features may change or become unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues or other operational circumstances.

10. Responsibility and Liability

ThaiAttorneys does not undertake to provide professional advice, protect legal deadlines or secure a particular professional engagement or outcome. The scope of the platform’s role is described in these Terms.

To the extent permitted by applicable law and only insofar as fair and reasonable, ThaiAttorneys excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence; death, personal injury or harm to health caused by conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded; or any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit. Mandatory consumer rights and data protection rights remain unaffected.

11. Changes and Governing Law

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the platform or legal requirements. Revised Terms will be published with an updated date. Material changes will be brought to users’ attention where required, and any legally required acceptance will be obtained. Changes will not retrospectively remove accrued rights.

These Terms are governed by Thai law. Disputes may be brought before the competent courts of Thailand, subject to any mandatory rights or jurisdiction rules that apply.

If a provision is unenforceable, it will apply only to the extent permitted by law, with the remaining provisions continuing where legally possible. These Terms do not replace the terms of a separate professional engagement.
